When you land

Upon arrival into your destination airport, once you have collected your luggage, follow the signs to 'Ground Transportation' for your car, transfer or taxi.

If you have booked car hire, be sure to check in online for your car hire before you arrive. Simply pop in a few details and the Alamo team will be ready to welcome you when you arrive at the airport.

 

On your holiday

Please note that we no longer have Virgin Holidays Reps based in your destination, so you won’t be met by a Rep at the airport, but rest assured, our team based in the USA is available to contact via WhatsApp, phone or email.

If you have a problem with your hotel room, please speak to someone at reception in the first instance, as they’ll be best placed to help. If it’s not something they’re able to resolve, please contact us and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

When you land

If you are arriving into Orlando International Airport, after picking up your luggage and clearing Customs, board the tram to the Main Terminal. Follow signs to Terminal A, and proceed to Level 1, Baggage Claim 8A. Even if you have your luggage, please follow these directions. Do not go to Terminal B. Our Virgin Holidays Reps will connect you with your pre booked transfer, car hire or taxi.

If you’re arriving into another Florida airport, or flying on another airline partner - after clearing Customs, follow signs to your airline’s baggage claim. Once you have collected your bags, follow the signs for 'Ground Transportation' in the main terminal, to collect your car, private transfer or taxi. (shuttle services are not available unless you are arriving on a Virgin Atlantic flight). Please note, in this instance you won't be met by a Virgin Holidays Rep upon arrival.

Florida Parks Information:
As the Parks re-open, you will experience some changes to the products and services provided. Social distancing measures may mean increased waiting times for rides.

Walt Disney World Resort:

  • Theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, restaurants, attractions, experiences and other offerings may be modified, limited in capacity and subject to limited availability or closure. For the latest information please visit Disney’s Know Before You Go site.
  • The Fastpass product has been retired and is no longer offered.
  • Disney Springs is open to guests to enjoy a wide range of unique shops, restaurants and lively entertainment. Please note that the Virgin Atlantic check-in & bag-drop is temporarily unavailable until further notice.
  • Walt Disney World Resort have introduced the new Disney Genie Service - this complimentary digital service lets you create your best Disney Park day with a recommended personal itinerary based on your own attraction and dining interests.
  • Disney Genie+ is an additional premium service which allows you to choose arrival windows for the new Lightning Lane entry on select attractions and experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
  • Lightning Lane entry is also available to purchase individually for some of the most popular attractions. Select your preferred ride time for up to two attractions per day.

Universal Orlando Resort:

  • The Aventura V-Hub at Universal has now closed.
