First things first. What type of account do you have?

There is more than one type of account you may have with us:

Flying Club account

If you’ve joined our loyalty programme, Flying Club, you’ll have a dedicated account to earn and spend Virgin Points, view your tier status, and access exclusive rewards.

Virgin Red account

If you have a Flying Club account, you may also have a Virgin Red account. Virgin Red is the wider rewards programme for the whole Virgin family, giving you even more ways to earn and spend your points across a range of Virgin brands and partner. If you would like to close your Virgin Red account, please contact Virgin Red using their member support form.

What happens when I close my account?

Requesting to close your Flying Club account includes the deletion of:

  • Your personal profile details

  • Your travel history and preferences

  • Any stored marketing permissions

  • Virgin Points (if you’re a Flying Club member)

  • Any data and points held in any other accounts opened in your name

Once your account is closed, this action can’t be undone.


If you hold more than one Flying Club account: When processing your request to delete your data, we’ll check for any additional Flying Club accounts in your name. If we identify duplicates, we’ll close and permanently delete these too.
 

How to request account closure
