Change your date or route

We won't charge admin fees if you wish to change your travel dates or choose a different destination, but you may need to pay any difference in fare. You may prefer to change passenger names if you would like someone else to benefit from your booking, and that's ok too. Find out more about our flexible booking policy

We’ve made it even easier to rebook when you’re ready by introducing our new rebooking bot and web messaging service. We’re available from 8am – 8pm UK time and you can get started by hitting the Chat button on the bottom right of this page.

If you’re contacting us from the United States and our rebooking service isn’t available at the time you need us. You can also access our new Web Messaging service by logging into your booking, where you will find the Chat button on the bottom right of the page. This service is available for our US customers until 8pm Pacific Standard Time.

Travel vouchers

We understand that you may be unsure of your travel plans. You don’t have to decide right now; For bookings made on or after 23rd December 2021 you can convert to a Travel Voucher which can be used up until 31 December 2023.

If your booking was made prior to 23rd December 2021 you can convert to a Travel Voucher which can be used up until 30 April 2023.

The value of your Travel Voucher will be the equivalent to your cancelled booking, and this also includes flights purchased with Flying Club points.

You can use your voucher to purchase a future Virgin Atlantic flight to any of our destinations. You can even make a booking for someone else using your Travel Voucher. If the new ticket price is greater than the voucher value, you just need to pay the difference in fare. It’s really easy. Request your travel voucher below and we’ll do the rest. (Please don’t call to request your voucher as it’s one thing our customer team can’t help with).

Once we receive and action your request, we’ll update your booking and send you confirmation. Please don’t worry if it takes a few days to get back to you, just keep your booking reference safe. If you are travelling imminently or think
