Following the wildfires affecting a number of areas of Maui County in Hawaii, we’re monitoring the situation carefully and remain ready to assist Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers currently on Maui or booked to travel there soon. The health, safety and security of our customers and people is our number one priority.
If you’re currently in Maui, please follow the advice of local authorities. The situation has been declared a state of emergency and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) has published Maui wildfire advice on its USA travel advice page.
If you wish to end your holiday early and return to the UK, we’ll be happy to support your travel arrangements and rebook you onto the earliest available flights.
If you have a Virgin Atlantic Holidays booking and are due to travel to Maui between now and 31st August 2023, we can discuss alternative holiday arrangements, including rebooking options.
Please contact us by phone on +44 (0) 344 472 9646 and also consult the terms of your travel insurance policy.
