Convert to a Travel Voucher

We understand that you may be unsure of your travel plans. You don’t have to decide right now; you can convert to a Travel Voucher which can be used up until 30 April 2023.

The value of your Travel Voucher will be the equivalent to your cancelled booking, and this also includes flights purchased with Flying Club points.

You can use your voucher to purchase a  future Virgin Atlantic flight to any of our destinations. You can even make a booking for someone else using your Travel Voucher. If the new ticket price is greater than the voucher value, you just need to pay the difference in fare.

For a limited time only, we are offering an ‘extra boost’ on flights cancelled by Virgin Atlantic, when you opt in for a travel voucher. A Travel Voucher in Economy will be boosted by £80, a booking in Premium will be boosted by £150, and a booking in Upper by £400. This increases the value that can be put towards your new flight, if the fare is higher. If you do not use the full value of your extra boost, this cannot be retained as a credit for future use. If you are travelling with an unseated infant, they would be entitled to 10% of the boost value.

The amounts shown above are for a return trip, for a one way or mixed cabin booking, you'll receive half the amount per direction.

Rebook/Reroute on a date at your convenience

If your flight has been cancelled by us, you can choose an alternative flight under comparable transport conditions, on a date at your convenience, to get you to your final destination. Subject to the availability of seats in the cabin originally purchased, at no additional cost.

You can also rebook on a Virgin Atlantic flight to another destination. Subject to availability. Any additional fare cost will be charged.

Cancel your booking

If you booked directly with Virgin Atlantic and your flight has been cancelled, you can apply for your refund here if you no longer wish to travel.
