Rebook/Reroute on a date at your convenience

If your flight has been cancelled by us, you can choose an alternative flight under comparable transport conditions, on a date at your convenience, to get you to your final destination. Subject to the availability of seats in the cabin originally purchased, at no additional cost.

You can also rebook on a Virgin Atlantic flight to another destination. Subject to availability. Any additional fare cost will be charged.

Cancel your booking

If you booked directly with Virgin Atlantic and your flight has been cancelled, you can apply for your refund here if you no longer wish to travel.

Convert to a Travel Voucher

If you have an existing booking made prior to 23 June 2022, depending on your original travel dates, you may also have the option to convert your ticket into a travel voucher, with the value equivalent to your cancelled booking, including flights purchased with Flying Club points.

Eligible customers are those who booked:

  • Between 1 June 2020 and 15 February 2022, with an original travel date no later than 31 December 2022.
  • Between 16 February 2022 and 23 June 2022, with an original travel date no later than 31 August 2022.

You can use your voucher to purchase a future Virgin Atlantic flight(s) to any of our destinations, for travel up until 31 December 2023. You can even make a booking for someone else using your travel voucher. If the new ticket price is greater than the voucher value, you just need to pay the difference in fare.

Please note, if your booking does not meet the above criteria, the ticket is not eligible to be converted into a travel voucher.
