Which terminal?

All Virgin Atlantic flights depart from and arrive at Terminal 2.

Online check in

The best way to check in is online where you can pick your seat and print your boarding card. If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.

You’ll find our desks in Terminal 2. Check in starts from four hours before departure and closes one hour before departure.

What time should I arrive at the airport?

Leave those last-minute airport dashes to the big screen! We recommend that you arrive at least two hours before your flight is due to leave.

Twilight Check In at Manchester Airport

Twilight Check In is available for all flights departing the following day from Manchester, every evening from 4pm to 8pm.

All customers travelling must be there to check in, with their own passports. And if you have any buggies or strollers to be tagged on the day of travel, or require special assistance, please remember to come back to the desks before you head to departures.

Please check the Airport Terminal screens on arrival for the applicable Virgin Atlantic check-in zone, as this can change daily.

Free parking is available for Twilight Check In. Make your way to Terminal 2 West Multi Storey Car Park between 4pm-8pm, take a token at the entry barrier, proceed to check-in, and drop your bags off. Your car park token will be validated at the Virgin check-in desk, then simply return your token at the exit barrier.
