What time should I arrive at the airport?

Leave those last-minute airport dashes to the big screen! We recommend that you arrive at least three hours before your flight is due to leave.

Online check in

The best way to check in is online where you can pick your seat and print your boarding card. If you’re travelling with carry on baggage only, you can print off your own boarding pass and we’ll see you at the gate.

Which terminal at LAX?

Departing passengers should go to Terminal 2.

If you are meeting arriving flights please go to Terminal B (Tom Bradley Intnl terminal).

Check in desks are located in Terminal 2.

Check in opens four hours before departure and closes one hour before departure.

Are you due to travel from 25th September 2023?
Please note that Check In desks for Virgin Atlantic departures from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) will be located in Terminal 2. After checking in via T2, access will still be available to the Star Alliance Lounge in the Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT) for eligible customers. TBIT will also continue to be used for all Virgin Atlantic arrivals
